How it works
Enable the days you worked and enter start time, end time and unpaid break minutes for each shift. Mark next-day end for an overnight shift; the app never silently assumes that an earlier end belongs to tomorrow. Disabled rows contribute nothing and are not validated. Every enabled shift must last between zero and 24 hours. Breaks must be whole minutes no longer than the shift. Calculations use integer clock minutes and do not apply a timezone or daylight-saving adjustment.
Formula
Net shift minutes = end clock minutes − start clock minutes + 1440 if next-day end is checked − unpaid break minutes. Weekly net time is the sum of enabled shifts. Decimal hours = total minutes ÷ 60.
Example
Five shifts from 09:00 to 17:00 with a 30-minute unpaid break each produce 37:30 net hours, or 37.5 decimal hours. A 22:00 to 06:00 next-day shift with a 30-minute break gives 7:30 net hours. These are clock-time totals, not a payroll statement: no overtime, paid-break policy, rounding rule or legal entitlement is inferred. Use actual dated, timezone-aware records when elapsed time across a clock change matters.
Assumptions and limitations
Clock-time totals only. No timezone, daylight-saving, overtime or payroll rules are applied.
Frequently asked questions
Are public holidays included automatically?
No. Add the dates you want to exclude. Custom weekends and exclusions are your own planning rules, not an official holiday calendar.
Are my settings uploaded?
No. Calendar rules and weekly shifts remain in this browser. Clear this site’s data to remove them. CSV exports are created on your device.
Does this apply payroll or legal deadline rules?
No. The tools calculate according to your explicit inputs. They do not infer jurisdiction, overtime, public holidays or contract-specific counting rules.
